With over 15 attractions for both the young and the old this park has them all. It’s spread over a huge area and has a sandy beach covered with 1,360 tons of soft, white sand. One of the main attractions is the Dolphin Plunge® where two side-by-side enclosed tube slides send you racing through an underwater pool that is home to a playful pod of incredibly beautiful black-and-white Commerson’s Dolphins. If they are in the right mood and you’re fast enough you can see the dolphins race along the tube while you’re in it.

This is more of a resort than a water park, they built it really big in Dubai, spared no expenses and for that reason this particular water park has the world’s widest water slide, the Middle East’s longest zip line and the Middle East’s longest river ride (1.42 miles in length).
There is a shark lagoon where you can find 5 different species of sharks and where you can hand-feed rays if you feel you have the courage for it. This Outdoor Water Park is build around an Alpine lake which makes it an unique and beautiful location. There are numerous attractions here that spread over an incredible 215,278 square feet will inspire you – you will want to come again and again! 4. Heading over to Beach Park (Fortaleza, Brazil)
You may have heard of this particular one before, as it has a ride called “Insano” which is the tallest (135 feet) and fastest (65 mph) water slide in the world at this time. In case you need to make a better image of how tall this thing is, just think about it – that height is equivalent to a 14-story building. If you’re courageous enough to test it out, you will have a unique 5-second free fall sensation that you will want to try again and again.
On the Kalafrio you race down a giant half pipe on double tubes. The thing is the descent angle is almost 90 degrees, which means, prepare to scream with excitement.

The Carribean Sea was first discovered by Christopher Columbus in the year1492 and it was later made famous for its pirates who gathered there because of the abundant natural resources that were found, like gold and silver and so on. This water park is built based on this theme, the luxurious and exotic aspects of those long ago times. The Caribbean Bay is made up of 5 areas : Bay Slide, the Aquatic Center, Sea Wave, Fortress and Wild River.

6. Siam Park (Tenerife, Spain)
As you can see from the name, this one is in Tenerife and it’s a water park with a thai theme. Siam Parks’ most iconic feature is the The Tower of Power which is also its most jaw-dropping thrill ride. After you do this you will surely remember it. After you climb the tower you will plunge down the almost vertical for a 91.86 feet drop in “free-fall” and emerge via a mysterious aquarium filled with sharks and stingrays.
For the relaxing type it has a lazy river, almost like the rest of the water parks, however this one is big. Also you have great views of the park which is full with lush vegetation and also a spectacular aquarium that is full of tropical fishes like you’ve never seen before.

7. Tropical Islands (Krausnick, Germany)
This is a structure like you’ve never seen before. The waterpark here is build inside the largest free-standing hall in the world. It was not build as a water park from the start though, it was originally a hangar for dirigibles. It is 1181.1 feet long and 688.97 feet wide with a whooping 351.05 feet high. Just so you have a better understanding of how big this is, just imagine, it can fit inside eight football fields.
You can do a lot of indoor thing here, from going on the water slide, to visiting the rainforest that has 50,000 plants, you can check yourself in at a hotel(yes, still inside the bubble) or do something even more amazing, go for a balloon ride. Because it’s an indoor water park it’s open all year, every day, so if you’re into it, you can go and visit no matter when.

8. WaterWorld Waterpark (Ayia Napa, Cyprus)
This is an interesting looking waterpark, it’s build having a grecian theme in mind, so you will see all sorts of trojan horse shaped monuments and pillars and antique looking ruines not to mention the names of the slides to go along with it all. Just to mention a few, you have : Drop to Atlantis, The fall of Icarus, The quest of Heracles, Aeolos Whirlpool, Apollos’ Plunge, Serpentine Slides and many more.
The lazy river is named River Odyssey so you most probably won’t feel like a lazy guy doing nothing and just sitting there, you will be thinking of a nice journy among the old ruins of a Greek temple…or not 🙂 You decide after you tried it.

9. World Waterpark (Alberta, Canada)
This is another indoor water park, second largest in the world after the one in Germany that you read about above. It has a huge artificial wave generator that you can see clearly on the park map. The advanced slides are named : Twister, Howler and Thunderbolt. The extreme slides are : Sky Screamer Extreme, Tropical Typhoon, Cyclone and Nessie’s Revenge – these will be the main attractions of this place if you’re in for some adrenaline boost.

This is a new arrival in the world of waterparks, it was opened in 2013 so as you can imagine it has some of the most interesting and never seen before slides.
